Stablemates Vain Raider & Idyllic Prince Quinella 2010 Roma Cup

June 1st, 2010

On Saturday at Belmont Park Racecourse in Perth, Jim Taylor’s top stablemates Vain Raider and Idyllic Prince gave the Bullsbook-based trainer the quinella in the $125,000 Group 3 Roma Cup (1200m).

Five-year-old Kenvain gelding Vain Raider ($14) claimed the impressive all-the-way win ahead of proven weight-for-age star and stablemate Idyllic Prince, who started as the $3.50 favourite, while second favourite and defending champ Grand Nirvana ($4.20) was a half length further away in third.
